Saint Paul teaches that every person eventually harvests what he or she has planted. Those who sow only for selfish and worldly desires will reap corruption, but those who sow in the Spirit will reap eternal life. Christians must not become tired of doing good. The harvest may not appear immediately, but God sees every faithful act. Whenever an opportunity is given, believers should serve others, especially members of the family of faith. Saint John joins truth and love together. Christians must walk according to God’s commandments and love one another. However, Christian love does not mean accepting false teaching. Believers must remain watchful against those who deny the truth about Jesus Christ coming in the flesh. In Acts, Saint Paul gives his testimony before rulers. He explains how Christ called him from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Although he faces imprisonment and opposition, Paul does not abandon his mission. He continues proclaiming repentance, conversion, and the resurrection. In the Gospel, the disciples become terrified when a storm threatens their boat. Jesus rebukes the winds and the sea, revealing His authority over creation. He also delivers the possessed men, demonstrating His power over evil spirits. The perfect God remains Lord over storms, suffering, rulers, darkness, and every power of evil. Christians are therefore called to trust Him, continue doing good, walk in truth and love, and testify courageously to what Christ has done in their lives. Faith does not mean that storms will never come. It means knowing that Christ is present in the boat and that no storm is greater than His authority.
