The Season of Flowers presents the beauty of a life that blossoms through faith, obedience, humility, and works of mercy. The Church, the Bride of Christ, praises the Lord not only with words but through a holy and fruitful life. Saint Paul teaches that God is faithful and that all His promises find their “Yes” in Christ. Christian leadership and service must therefore be marked by sincerity, truthfulness, and faithfulness rather than inconsistency or self-interest. Saint James warns believers not to judge one another arrogantly and not to speak as though they control the future. Human life is brief, and all our plans must remain under God’s will. Humility recognises that every day is a gift from Him. In Acts, Saint Peter heals Aeneas and raises Tabitha, also called Dorcas. Tabitha’s life was filled with good works and care for the poor. Her example shows what a truly blossoming Christian life looks like: faith expressed through compassion and practical service. Jesus concludes the Gospel by presenting two roads and two foundations. The narrow gate leads to life, while the broad road leads to destruction. The wise person is not merely the one who hears Christ’s words, but the one who obeys them and builds upon the rock. A beautiful Christian life is founded on Christ, guided by God’s will, free from pride and judgment, and made fruitful through mercy. Such a life remains firm when trials come and becomes a flower of praise before God.
